Main Aims

To upskill existing and aspiring leaders and HR practitioners, working in various organisational contexts, with necessary tools to confidently lead equity, diversity and inclusion within those contexts. 

Duration: 6 Months

  • Undergraduate degree required

Fellow (FInstLM): 

(i) Let’s talk about race (ii) Understanding diversity, inclusion & equity (iii) Leading culturally diverse teams/ workforce (iv) Leading organisational change in equity issues (v) Institution Focused Case Study 

  • Masters degree required or undergraduate degree with up to 10 years management/ leadership experience

The Modules and Assessment 

Let’s talk about race: developing a shared language and practice  

  • 3 x 1.5 hours sessions 
  • Assessment – Action Plan [1000 words] + Oral Presentation of Plan
  • Pass or Fail basis

Understanding, equity, diversity & inclusion 

  • 4 x 1.5 hours sessions 
  • Assessment – Written report [1000 words] + 3 Quizzes
  • Pass or Fail basis

Leading culturally diverse teams/ workforce 

  • 4 x 1.5 hours sessions 
  • Assessment – Written report [1000 words] + Quiz
  • Pass or Fail basis

Leading organisational change for equity

  • 3 x 1.5 hours sessions
  • Assessment –  Written report [1500 words]
  • Pass or Fail basis

Institution Focused Case Study – 4 months* 

  • *Only available to participants who have completed all relevant modules
  • Written report [4,500 – 6,000 words].
  • Pass or Fail.
